How to Register for MahaRERA

  • Visit the MahaRERA website and select ‘Registration’ from the top menu.
  • When you click on ‘Registered Projects,’ you will be taken to an external website. Check that pop-up are enabled in your browser.
  • Enter the project’s name, promoter’s name, or RERA number. The information will be displayed, and you will be able to review the RERA certificate as well as all other information provided by the builder to the Authority.

How to check registered agents on MahaRERA?

  • Visit the MahaRERA website and select ‘Registration’ from the top menu.
  • When you click on ‘Registered Real Estate Agents,’ you will be taken to an external website. Then, check the pop-ups are enabled in your browser.
  • Enter the agent’s name or agent registration number to get more information.

How to report unregistered projects?

You can also report unregistered projects to the Authority as a vigilant consumer. The following is a step-by-step guide to submitting an online request.

  • Navigate to the MahaRERA portal and select ‘non-registration’ from the top menu.
  • From the drop-down menu, select ‘Inform Non-Registration.’
  • A new page will open where you must provide all of the information about the complainant and the unregistered project. Your complaint will be assigned a SI number, which will allow you to track its progress.

How to file a complaint on MahaRERA?

For the convenience of home buyers and investors, MahaRERA has made complaint registration simple. To file a complaint against a developer/agent/promoter, follow the steps below.

  • Navigate to the MahaRERA online complaint forum and select ‘New Registration.’
  • Choose ‘User Type’ as ‘Complainant’ and enter the necessary information. Log in to the system once your user registration has been approved.
  • Now, under ‘Accounts,’ select ‘My Profile.’ Fill in the blanks with the necessary information.
  • Choose ‘Complaint Details’ and then ‘Add New Complaints’ from the drop-down menu.
  • You can now file a complaint, in which you must include the division, registration number, project, or agent name. The name of the promoter will appear automatically.
  • Include information about the complainant, such as the complainant’s name, type, nature of interest in the project, and address.
  • Include information about the respondent, such as name, type, and address.
  • Upload documents to back up your case and the reliefs you’re seeking.
  • Pay the fees in order to have your complaint registered.

  • The promoters’ names, addresses, phone numbers, and photographs (in case of individuals)
  • The legal framework for companies and partnership firms involves registration and document submission.
  • Approved Building Plan Approved Building Layouts Ownership/Lease/Development Agreement
  • RERA Bank Account Information
  • Architects’ Form 1
  • Structural Engineer Form 2
  • Chartered Accountants Form 3
  • The promoter’s name, address, phone number, and photograph (people in management, in the case of entities)

HomeFirst offers loan tenures between 1 year to 25 years. If you opt for a longer tenure, you can get the advantage of a lower EMI each month.

HomeFirst can provide finance up to 90% of the property value. The balance has to be arranged by you from other sources. Please note: 90% financing is only available for loans amounting to less than Rs. 30 lakhs.

All co-owners of the property have to be co-applicants to the loan. A person who is not a co-owner can also become a co-applicant to the loan.

During the construction phase, HomeFirst will disburse funds to the builder on your behalf. These will be based on payment requests made by the builder as per the construction schedule.

HomeFirst will charge interest only on the amount disbursed as loan during the construction phase. In this period, interest is charged only on the disbursed loan amount.
